Elegant late early 1930s-inspired evening sandals with T-strap
Helen is a vintage-inspired evening shoe that captures the elegance of the late 1920s and early 1930s. Featuring the iconic T-strap elegantly fastened with a single buckle at the ankle, this design is both timeless and refined. Feminine cutouts on the vamp and a high, gracefully curved Spanish heel evoke the era's glamour, while the almond-shaped toe with a subtle point adds sophistication.
Crafted with a leather outsole for natural flexibility and breathability, Helen also features soft silicone inserts beneath the leather insole for enhanced comfort throughout the day—or night.

Wide or Regular - Which width to choose if both are available? Wide styles are two sizes up in width compared to the regular size. I recommend choosing wide shoes if you usually buy wide-style shoes. My wide styles are an EEE size.

These are gorgeous well-made shoes, but the sizing is quite wrong. Please don't believe the size chart measurements, they showed I would be a smallish 5, when normally I'm a 5,5-6. So I ordered 5, only to not even be able to get them on. Exchanged for 6, which are still too small! Now I've exchanged for 7, will see whether they would fit. I never wear 7! It could just be the pointy closed shape of this model. Very fast delivery and easy returns/exchanges makes all this palaver a bit easier.

I love these t-straps and really wanted to find a pair that fit. Unfortunately, my usual size (US8) was too narrow and a size up was too long. I don't usually buy wide width shoes, but I imagine that the cut of certain styles may impact the width in this way. I wish these came in wide! I'll try a different style in a US8 wide and see if that works for me.
All said, Memery has been fantastic with their exchanges and returns. It's lovely to be able to try a pair of shoes at home knowing that you have options if they don't fit. I have a few pairs of Memery shoes already and love the company's variety of historical styles and amazing craftsmanship. I'll definitely be a return customer so long as their "try at home" policy remains as amazing as it is!

I managed to snag a gold pair of the Helen heels in time for my wedding in Cape Town in May 2025. Not only did they look good, but they were so comfortable that I managed a (short) hike into the mountains in them for our couples portraits AND many, many hours on the dance floor later in the evening. I highly recommend them. 🥂

They are very pretty shoes, but the sizing pads that I purchased additionally did not help at all close the gap between half sizes. I was also upset at the creaking sound of the shoes and that the anti-slip guards were not placed on the bottom of the shoes. Less expensive shoes include those so I have no idea why she left those off.
I had peeled off the protective barrier ( bottom of shoes) to see how they felt and walked on both hardwood and carpet. Unfortunately I won't get my money back as per their policy (fair enough) but I won't ever purchase another pair or recommend them.

We produce our shoes with a leather soles, just like the originals had back then, and they will become less slippery when you wear them outside on pebbels or concrete and treat them with leather care. I also know some of our customers chose to have a rubber sole added at a cobblers, which is easily done. Very happy with my new silver shoes. The delivery was a little longer than expected but the shoes arrived well packed. Stiff at first but getting more comfortable by each time. Very happy!

I just love the style of this shoe. They are taking a bit of breaking in and I'll shorten the heel a bit, but overall I just love them and will purchase more. Thank for the attention to design to create an era specific ladies shoe. Great work!
