A soft and extra warm, 1940s-inspired classic country-style cardigan made from 100% pure, luxurious merino wool, featuring a beautiful cable knit pattern. The design is simple, feminine, and has a timeless, classic cut. It features a round neckline, a short length that sits just below the waist, and long sleeves.

You can adjust the sleeve length by folding up the wide ribbed cuffs.

Note the beautiful floral buttons, made especially for this model. They are 100% reproductions of original Bakelite buttons from the 1940s.

The cardigan is manufactured in the EU.

Lovely cardigan, just not for me

I tried this cardigan in two different sizes and, sadly, the style just didn't suit me. It's quite boxy in shape and between the wide set of the shoulders and narrow crew neck, it looked bulky on my somewhat narrow frame.

I had no issue with the quality of the cardigan, though, which was nice and soft (not scratchy at all, and I am generally quite sensitive to itchy knitwear), and the cable design is lovely. The vintage style buttons are a great touch.

I appreciate how were simple and very efficient the Returns process seems (I'm UK based), and would happily order from Memery again.
