These are cute but I’m a 7.5 and these don’t come in half sizes, so I ordered up and they were a little big. The real problem is the super stiff leather that I could tell immediately would cut into at least four parts of my foot and leave blisters, so they didn’t leave the house and I sent them back.
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review on our Sidse sandals. I'm sorry to hear that you find them stiff, it's not something we usually hear about our sandals. Our sandals are made of full grain leather, the best leather type you can get, and sometimes they require a bit of breaking in, but then you'll have the softest sandlas molded to your feet. I bought these sandles in lovely happy green colour , a few months ago, for a fancy Garden party. This weekend I got to take them out for a spin!
FIRST IMPRESSIONS: Love the colour, love the style, the buckle is sturdy, the leather is good and I love how comfortable the inner sole is. The fit is perfect length and width, ( I have short wide feet and normally wear a UK size 6), I ordered these shoes in a uk size 6. My heel came right to the back of the shoe, which is rare for me and my toes fit in the front well... I did have to wear them a couple of times before taking them outside just to loosen them up a little, but that's the nature of old style leather shoes.
HOW THEY DID ON THE DAY: I wore these shoes for 12 hours and was standing for about three of them and I can report that walking at a decent walking speed and standing for a long period of time was not an issue. Also worked well on cobble stones , gravel driveway and no slips while playing Croquet on freshly mown grass that was slightly damp. I had to concentrate going down stairs a bit but no wobbles, so all good there. The shoes held up well and just needed a slight brush with a soft shoe brush to keep them clean when I got home.
The underside of the shoes has no grip so not sure how it would fair on hardwood floors or shiny tiled or laminated floors ,I haven't gotten around to testing that out yet.
But very pleased with the shoes. They were comfy and made me feel stylish at the same time. Would recommend.

Absolutely beautiful sandals. They are so well made and very comfortable. My usual size 7 were too small so I swapped to an 8 , the replacements were sent v quickly. I’m never an 8 so I think they come up small.Just love them - thank you!

Dies ist mein drittes Paar Schuhe von Memery und mein zweites Paar Sandalen.
Sie sind wie die anderen Schuhe sehr bequem und wunderbar zu tragen.
Ich habe keine Schwielen oder Druckstellen und sie sehen auch unter einer normalen Jeanshose toll aus.
Ich glaube, es werden nicht meine letzten Schuhe sein.

Købte endnu et par Memerysandaler, da jeg var helt vild med det første par (Ella), og fik så mange komplimenter. Den her model er lidt mindre i størrelsen end Ella-modellen, så de sidder ikke helt lige så behageligt. De er dog stadig smukke og gode at gå i. Anbefaler dem til alle!
