I was impressed by the quality and care of packaging. I will still have to break in this shoe but it seems true to my own size.

I was totally surprised how I didn't even have to put bandaids in the usual spots to break them in. Literally shaped to my foot over the course of my weekly grocery run. I also REALLY appreciate the cushioning, it has made them so very comfortable. The gold is a beautiful shade as well and the balance of comfort and style has made them my go-to daily shoe in the few weeks I have had them.

Best customer service I’ve received in Europe. And the shoes are fantastic for dancing. So comfortable and functional for swing dancing - I dance balboa and Lindy Hop - while also beautiful and elegant. I wear a US size 6.5. As for the sizing, I ordered the 37 which is a tiny bit too big, but I think the 36 would be too tight. Overall a great experience.

Shoes are very good quality and very comfortable to wear. Beautifully made. I got the wide version of my usual size and ordered the insoles to be sure. They fit perfectly.

My daughter's wedding is in 2025 and I need a vintage style shoe to go with my ensemble. I'm making myself a 1937 Vintage Vogue pattern #1935 (if you want to google it) that is an evening coat with a sleek gown underneath. Very Old Hollywood. For a shoe I wanted (1) something with a strap that's not a pump (2) a shapely but lowish heel so I can be on my feet for several hours (3) Something in silver to coordinate with my pale green Bengaline evening coat and silvery grey 4-ply silk crepe gown and (4) a 1930's look. Marlene literally satisfied *every* criteria!! And this shoe is just soooo comfortable too I could tell the moment I put them on - no break in needed. Bravo and thank you!

It was so nice to see the brilliant shine of these silver shoes. They look lovely peeping out from the hem of a long dance dress. True vintage footwear is wonderful, but it's so nice to have shoes that fit, are in perfect condition, and that are so comfy to wear.
