The shoes are so beautiful and the fit is wonderfull!
The leather ist really thick, which is why I spent a lot of time softing up where the back hit my heel. The leather is soft there now (& my heels have healt) so I am really really happy with them now! I am sure that these shoes ard going to last me a long time :)

Thank you for your kind review on our Billie shoes. As you say, they're made fo leather, so in time they will soften up and expand a bit, and then you'll have the most comfortable shoes molded to your feet. Great Shoe, i love how they look with skirt or trouser. They fit quite well and are so far comfortable. Sadly they are a bit slipery, but i love them nevertheless

Thank you for your review of our Billie derby shoes. We're so glad to hear that you find them elegant and cute and that they fit well. Our shoes are made with leather soles, just like the originals back then. Once you've worn them on the pavement, they should be less slippery, or you can treat them with leather care, to make them less slippery. I also know some of our customers take them to a cobbler and have a rubber sole added.

This is my third pair of Memery shoes. I am a musician, and I need to wear all black when I am on stage. These are comfortable enough that I know I will be fine on my feet for the whole show. The subtle details add interest when seen up close, but they are appropriate when I am standing with the full chorus. These are just what I was looking for in a concert shoe, but I am also enjoying them for regular daytime wear.

Billie shoe. Fairly comfortable walking shoe. Beautifully made. Leather is stiff. Would be much better with a soft, buttery, pliable outer and inner liner. Will take a lot of walking to soften these up.

I absolutely love them. Size perfect 38 as usual, comfortable round toe box. I was initially looking for a pair of ghillie brogues to go with my kilts and thought, these have a slight resemblance. As this is not my first pair from Memery, I was sure the quality would 'fit' as well!

Simple yet stylish for vintage everyday work and casual, but taking some time to wear in. Perfect for my 1940s style clothes. The soles are smooth so I might purchase gripper pads for autumn and winter weather.

Our shoes are made of full grain leather, which means in time they will take shape after your feet and give you a great fit. Our soles is also made of leather, so the more you use them, the less slippery they will become. I was a little sceptical to buy shoes in a web store because of bunions. When they arrived it was a match made in heaven. They fit perfectly! Last week I went to a local shoestore and the owner asked where I had got my lovely shoes. Can you get a better compliment than that?
