This classic, pointed-toe leather lace-up ankle boot from the 1930s combines a feminine silhouette with a comfortable mid-height curved heel. These have just arrived so I haven't worn them anywhere yet but they are very pretty and feel good on. I usually take a UK size 6 from Memery, but this style felt too snug in the 6 and I needed to go up a size. The return/exchange was very easy and the size 7 fits nicely with enough room for a slightly thicker sock if needed. The quality is excellent, the leather is very soft and feels luxurious. The heel is a comfy, elegant height, just enough to give a little bit of a lift under a longer skirt. I'm looking forward to wearing them to go out in.

These are beautiful shoes, and they were the closest I could find that offered in a wide version that would match the Edwardian-Era. I bought them because I host a Titanic Tea Party each April.
I struggled to get them on even after majorly loosening the shoe strings, but did manage to get them on. My issue is not just my extra wide foot, but also my high instep. And the reason I didn't opt for any of the boot options (if they even were offered in wide) was my hige calves! Ugh.
But these will do the job, even if they are uncomfortable. I figure I only need them for a few hours. So they'll work. Thank you!

I love my new shoes, they look great and fit comfortably. The quality is fantastic.
As someone who usually doesn't wear heels, I just wish the outer sole had more grip/texture as I feel myself slipping a bit when walking indoors or on smooth surfaces. Will have to put some grip soles on them for more walking confidence.

After a couple of walks on asphalt or pebbles, they should have more grip. If you regularly treat the soles with leather care, this should help as well. But it is of course no problem to add a pair of rubber soles underneath them at a cobbler. Happy walking! Best DItte
Bought this shoes for my daughter. She totally fell in love with them. It was a bit challenging to find the right size. Memory was great assistance with finding the right size. Then we had to wait a really long time because the size wasn't in stock. But it was totally worth it!

They are so beautiful and cosy! They are also some of the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned and worn. They fit me so well, which is something that seldom occurs to me because of my wider feet. At first, I was a tad bit skeptical if the wide size would be wide enough, but when I tried them on, they were perfect!

I have a disability that gives me foot pain, but the leather is so soft that it molds to my foot. At first I could still only wear them for about an hour at a time, but now I can wear them all day at work and they're more comfortable than most of my shoes. I'm going to get myself a pair of boots next and I'm so excited.

These shoes are so well made. They are pretty comfortable. I think I got spoiled a bit wearing clogs and am unused to the tightness of regular shoes now—I do not regularly wear wide fit, but I wonder if wide fit might be more comfortable. Regardless, I recommend that if you are between or unsure of sizes that you just gamble on larger fitting better. I had to exchange for a couple of sizes up and the exchange process was very easy. I would certainly recommend these shoes, they look great and are fantastic quality.
