Put these boots on for the very first time and wore them all day long.
I have a UK size 9/10 and ordered the size 12 wide.
These boots are super comfy and the leather is soft around my fat ankles and does not dig into my skin.
I wore them with wool tights and a cotton prairie style dress.
I will certainly come back for more shoes.

I was really nervous about the sizing being off especially since I ordered a wide size but I was overjoyed at how well they fit! Boots are never normally comfortable for me due to how narrow they are so its nice having something that doesn't hurt. The feel of the boots are so soft and durable and the fact it comes with replacement laces, eyelets, and heel plates is such a plus and just really shows how good a quality item they are.

I bought these walking boots for 2 specific reasons: I work as an historic tour guide in Vancouver, BC (Canada), so I needed some good looking historically accurate footwear. Also, I was looking for footwear to replace some shoes I have been using for a couple of years, which are far too heavy and uncomfortable. I have Morton's Neuroma in one foot: this means I can get shooting pain between 3rd & 4th toe if my shoes don't have enough width. It comes from wearing too many shoes over the years which press the toes together. It has gotten so bad in recent years, that it greatly impacts the kind of footwear I can comfortably wear. When I saw that Memery offered extra wide size in an historical shoe, I was thrilled! I have been looking at these shoes for a couple of years... I admit it was tough for me to spend this much $ for footwear. But this summer a number of styles were on sale, so I took the opportunity to buy them. I'm SO DELIGHTED that I did. The boots are beautifully made, and fit ever so slightly large on my foot. I'm usually a 6.5-7 North American size and size 38 tends to run a bit more like 7+ –– but that's just fine. The extra space will be great for wearing thicker socks in the fall/winter. As for the extra wide fit, this is perfect for my feet which now need extra space in the toe box. I really cannot say enough about how perfectly these walking boots have answered my needs. And the fact that they are beautiful, too, and low-heeled so I can be on my feet for 2+ hours walking is precisely what I was looking for. Støvlerne i mørkebrun er virkelig fine og farven er lige det, jeg ønskede. Jeg købte dem først i den almindelige model, men de er ret smalle, så jeg fik dem byttet til den brede model, som var bedre til min fod. De er ret besværlige at komme i og ud af, da de skal snøres (de er jo kopier af støvler fra 1900-tallet). Men da jeg skal bruge dem til pænt brug er det helt okay. De ville dog ikke fungere for mig til hverdagsbrug, pga tiden det tager at snøre dem

These boots are extremely attractive, beautifully made and the leather is glowing. I have great difficulty finding comfortable footwear, but these are soft, a perfect fit, and will, I am sure, enable me to walk around town without the fear of aching feet. This weekend, we will be on cobbles, so let's hope!

I purchased these boots for my daughter. Who had wanted a pair since you opened Memery.
She has worn them to a a Faery Festival recently for the first time.
They are a wide fit , they are comfortable to wear . But she has said that on the next order go up to a size ten .As she is a size nine shoe . Celene definitely recommends them.

I have 4 pair now. That way I am not without when I wear them down and need repaired. I can rely on taking a new pair out of box and wearing for 13 hours at work. Stylish, get compliments. Looks great with jeans, pants & my kilt.
One suggestion would be quieter rubber heel- my coworker thinks they are loud on tile floor. The ones I have had repaired I have had them change to quieter material
